the bjp, which is battling a stampede within the party in West Bengal, has made a serious reshuffle within the organization. Lok sabha mp from burghal sukanta Majumdar has been declared as the state president in place of Dilip Ghosh.  while bypolls are on the head, senior leaders are leaving the party, the bjp faces the challenge of keeping its leaders in check.

the party bjp has decided to change the organization at a time when former union minister babul supriyo left the party a day ago and suppressed the tmc. in fact, there has been a stampede in the bjp since its defeat in the Bengal assembly elections. several top leaders including Mukul Roy and babul supriyo have resigned. the bjp faces the challenge of keeping its leaders afloat.

In Bengal, the amount of bjp MLAs has come down from 77 to 71.

the number of MPs has come down to 17. before babul supriyo, Mukul Roy, Tanmay Ghosh, biswajit das, and souman Roy have left the party and joined the tmc. the challenge from tmc in bhawanipur bypoll bye-elections is scheduled to be held on September 30 in samserganj and Jaipur along with high profile seat bhavanipur.

cm Mamata Banerjee herself is on the field from bhavanipur. the election is crucial for Mamata Banerjee to continue as cm and she also seems to be very confident about her victory. the bjp had to put in a lot of effort to find a candidate in this seat. the bjp has finally bet on young leader Priyanka tibrewal after several leaders refused.

questions raised over Dilip Ghosh's style of functioning former state president Dilip Ghosh has been being questioned ever since his defeat in the Bengal assembly. other party leaders were also openly angry with him. several MPs and leaders also questioned Dilip Ghosh's behavior. the leaders alleged that Ghosh made shameful remarks among the people against his own party colleagues. Dilip Ghosh is also said to be the reason behind babul supriyo leaving the party.
